• First camping holiday

  • It is my first camping holiday: what kind of clothes do you suggest?

    We recommend you to wear casual and comfortable clothes as long and short trousers, t-shirt, swimsuit, comfortable shoes and slippers to go to the beach and to the swimmingpool, a pullover or a raincoat, a hat to protect you from the sunshine.

  • It is my first camping holiday: can you suggest me the more suitable luggage?

    We suggest you to travel with a light luggage that you can easily carry erverywhere as a rucksack, or a travelling bag or a trolley case.

  • What is the address of camping Ca’Savio?

    Camping Ca'Savio, Via di Ca'Savio 77, 30013 Cavallino-Treporti (Venezia), Italy.

    GPS Coordinates: Longitude = X 12° 27,6801' E - Latitude = Y 45° 26,7527' N.

  • How far is the campsite from the bus stop?

    Bus stops to Jesolo and Punta Sabbioni (ATVO) are in the center of Ca’Savio and they are 800 m. far away from the campsite. There is a bus to Jesolo and one to Punta Sabbioni every 30 minutes.

  • Where can I buy tickets for public transport?

    The ATVO bus tickets (single ticket to Jesolo = 2,30 €; single ticket to Punta Sabbioni = 1,80 €) are available at the Customer Care Office of the campsite and at the ticket dispenser nearby the bus stop.

    At the Customer Care office you can buy also combined rate tickets (24h tickets for bus + boat + water buses = 23,60 €).

• At the arrival

  • Which are Reception’s opening times?

    The campsite reception is open from 07.30 to 22.00.

    In the months of June, July and August the reception is open untill 23.00.

  • What shall I do if I will arrive in the campsite during the closing time of the reception?

    If you arrive after the closing time of the reception, you will find our security staff to welcome you. They will show you the accommodation and they will give you all the assistance you need and some basic information.

    We remind you that the barriers are closed from 23.00 to 7.30 therefore it is not allowed to drive inside the campsite.

  • Check-in at the campsite

    At the arrival guests must provide an identity document and sign the “Arrival Declaration” required for registration under Italian law.They will receive a personal camping pass that must be kept untill the end of the stay to enter or leave the campsite and to be recognized as campsite guests from our security staff.

• Accommodation and pitches

  • Which are the features of the pitches? *

    Pitches are shaded with a size of 70-100 mq and they are equipped with electrical power supply with EC sockets, maximum 5 Amp/1100 Watt. Pitches are not provided with water and drainage and they can accommodate maximum 6 people.

    
    
    

  • I will arrive with a big caravan / camper van / tent. What can I do?

    If you have booked a pitch and you will travel with a big caravan/motorhome/tent (caravan more than 6,5 m long / camper van more that 6,5 m long and 2,5 m high / trailer tent or tent of more than 30 mq) we kindly ask you to tell us in advance the right size, to give you a pitch suitable for your requirement.

  • Can I choose the pitch number? *

    NO. The reservation guarantees a pitch in the area A or B or C, but not the pitch number.

  • Can I choose the number of the accommodation? *

    NO.The reservation garantees a special type of accommodation, but not the number.

  • Can I pitch a tent near the bungalow / chalet / mobile home?

    NO. It is not allowed to pitch a tent in the space surrounding the accommodation.

  • Are the accomodation equipped with air conditioning?

    Some accommodation are equipped with air conditioning system working with a prepaid card according to the consumption (10,00 € for 20 hours and 20,00 € for 40 hours of air conditioning). These cards are available at the Customer Care Office and they are not refundable.

  • Are the accommodation equipped with fridge?

    All our accommodation are provided with refrigerator of different size and capacity.

  • Are the accommodation equipped with sheets, blankets and pillows? *

    The accommodation are equipped only with pillows, whilst blankets can be requested for free at the Reception. The sheets can be rented on payment and should be booked in advance (sheets for double bed: 13,00€, sheets for single bed: 6,00 €).

• Opening times and regulation

  • What are the opening times of the reception?

    The campsite reception is open from 07.30 to 22.00. In the month of June, July and August the reception is open untill 23.00.

  • Are pets allowed?

    NO. Pets are not allowed in the campsite.

  • Is the campsite open all year?

    The campsite is open from 21/04/2012 to 30/09/2012.

  • Silence time

    The entrance and exit barriers are closed during the day from 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. and during the night from 11.00 p.m untill 07.30 a.m. During those times it is not allowed to drive inside the campsite.

  • What other rules must be observed?

    It is absolutely forbidden:

    - to damage plants and flowers

    - to dig holes in the streets and in the pitches

    - to light fires

    - to barbecue

    - to hang ropes and awnings from the trees

    - to damage equipment for common use

    - to leave rubbish outside the provided containers

    - to wash dishes and clothes outside the provided sink

    - to wash the car in the camper service area.

  • Are minors allowed to stay alone?

    Minors than 18 years old must be accompanied and they have to stay with parents or other adults legally responsible for them. Parents must control and supervise their children particularly inside the toilets building, on the beach, in the swimming pool and at the playground.. and they are directly responsible for their children’s behaviour.

• Services and facilities

  • Where are the toilet buildings? How are they fitted with?

    The campsite has 3 toilet buildings located in the str. 6, 13 and 41 and they are fitted up with: cubicles consisting of wc, sink and shower with hot and cold water, wc for disabled persons, chemical wc, sinks for washing dishes and clothes, washing machines and driers.

  • is it possible to rent a barbeque?

    For safety reasons, it is not possible to have barbecues/grills.

  • Where can I rent bed linen, blankets and pillows? How much is it? *

    Accommodation are equipped only with pillows, whilst blankets can be requested for free at the Reception. The sheets are available on payment and should be booked in advance (double sheets: 13,00 €; single sheets: 6,00 €).

  • Is it possible to rent towels and table linen?

    NO. The campsite doesn’t rent towels and table linen.

  • I’m travelling with children and I would like to know if it is possible to rent high chairs, baby beds and bed rails.

    According with availability it is possible to rent:

     

    High chair: 1,50€ per night  

    Baby beds (size 125 cm x 65 cm x 80 cm high -  with mattress of 4 cm thick): 1,50 € per night. Sheets and pillows for baby bed are not provided.

    Baby bed rails: available for free.

    We remind you that high chairs, baby beds and bed rails must be booked in advance.

  • Can I rent bicycles and rumble trucks in the campsite?

    Yes, you can rent bicycles for adult (1 day: 8,00 €) and children (1 day: 7,00 €) and wooden handcarts to carry goods and toys (3,00 € per day). According with availability it is possible to rent for free helmets and child seats.

     

  • Internet wifi: how much does it cost? How can I pay for it?

    The campsite has 2 internet points (one located in the main restaurant and the other by the snackbar in the str. 37) and wifi zone (by the restaurant and the snack bar in str. 13 and 37). Guests who want to use the connection should buy username and password, valid for one week, at the customer care office (1 hour: 5,00 € ; 2 hours: 10,00 € and 4 hours: 15,00 €).

  • Are there public telephones inside the campsite?

    Yes. Public telephones are available near the reception and the supermarket and you can buy phone cards at the Customer Care office.

  • Where is the nearest cash dispenser?

    In the campsite there is a bancomat close to the supermarket.

    Outside, in the center of Ca’Savio, there are 4 banks equipped with cash points.

  • Where can I change money?

    At the cash desk of the campsite (8,00-12,00 and 15,00-19,00) is possible to change English Pounds, US-Dollars, Danish Krone, Swiss Francs.

  • What credit cards do you accept?

    All main credit cards are accepted: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

  • Where can I ask for tourist information?

    The customer care office provides information and it is available for assistance. There you can buy tickets for public transport, stamps, postcards, tourist guide, phone cards, username and password for intenet access. It is possible to book excursions, to rent a car and also to request baby beds, high chairs and bed linen.

     

  • What foreign languages are spoken at the reception?

    GB/ F / D / I / NL / HU.

    English, French, German, Dutch, Holland and Hungarian.

• Emergency, assistance and disabled persons services

  • What kind of emergency facilities are available nearby?

    In the campsite there is a small sickroom open from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 untill 19.00. A private doctor can be available on payment and on request, asking at the Customer Care office.

  • Where are the nearest pharmacies?

    The nearest chemists are in Ca’Savio (1 km), in Ca’Ballarin (6km) and in Cavallino (8 km).

  • Where is the closest hospital?

    The nearest hospital is in Jesolo Lido (20 km).

  • Camping facilities are suitable for disabled persons?

    The campsite ground is made up of an asphalt main road and other little street of sand and gravel. There are some roads with an uneven surface.

    The reception can be reach by a pavement with a 10 cm step, which can be overcome by a ramp with 8% gradient. The counter is 115 cm high and there is no intercommunication system for night hours.  The ground in front of the reception has a non-slip surface.

    Every toilet building is provided with bathroom for disabled persons.

    To go to the beach it is possible to use the access near the restaurant, but we remind you that the path is higly sloping and it is not paved untill the shore.

    Near the restaurant there are 2 swimming pools, one for adults and another for children, and there is a third pool in the pinewood. At the entrance ther are footbaths with a double ramp with a gradient of over 8%, but there is a side barrier providing passage for wheelchairs. There are flush floor showers with a slight gradient and non-slip surfaces.  The swimming pools are not equipped with hoist to access the water for wheelchair users.

    Restaurant/Pizzeria, Self-service, Bar and pub are all interconnected. The main entrance has 3 steps, but access via the outer terrace is free of obstacles. The passage from the terrace of the restaurant/pizzeria to the other areas has a gradient of 11%. There is no disabled toilet.

    The entrance to the supermarket is via a short ramp with a 15% gradient.

  • Are there accommodation suitable for disabled people? *

    The campsite has only a few accommdation suitable for disabled people. We kindly ask you to contact us for more details and to check the availability.

• Activities

  • What are the swimming pool opening times?

    Swimming pools are open from 10.00 to 19.00. The opening times can change according to weather conditions and period of the season.

  • Is there a special regulation for swimming pool area?

    Swimming pools are not for professional use, the entrance is free of charge. 

    It is forbidden to enter the pool with inflated objects as mattresses and balls and people are not allowed to dive, to jump, to run and to use radio in the swimming pool area.

  • Is the beach free or on payment?

    The beach in front of camping Ca’Savio is free of charge.

  • Can I put my own sun ombrella on the beach?

    The beach is free of charge and you can choose where to place parasol and deckchair. If you are not provided with them, you can buy parasol and deckchair at the bazar of the campsite at reasonable prices.

  • What services and activities are available in Camping Ca’Savio?

    The campsite provides following services and facilities: a supermarket with fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, newspapers, a bazar, a restaurant and pizzeria, self-service and take away, breakfast and half board, pub and tv, internet point and wifi zone, multilingual animation for children and adults, evening entertainment, 5 table tennis courts, minigolf (9 holes), playground area, hiring service of bicycle and rumble trucks, of bed linen, of high chair and baby bed, car rental, excursions, wellness and Customer Care Office.

  • Are there sports facilities nearby?

    In Punta Sabbioni (3 km) you can find tennis courts and in Jesolo it is possbile to play golf at “Jesolo Golf Club” (10 km).

  • Animation for children

    The campsite provides animation for children and adults. Chilldren between 5 and 12 years old can join to the Miniclub, whilst kids with an age between 13 and 16 years and adults can play several sports (aerobics, acquagym and different sports tournament). Every evening our staff organize a baby-dance for joung children and different shows to entertain all family. The campsite has also a minigolf (9 holes) and a free playground.

  • Where can I find gluten-free food?

    At the supermarket you can buy some gluten-free foods. At the main restaurant are available some courses without gluten, but the reservation is requested.

  • Are available at the restaurant vegetarian dishes?

    The restaurant’s menu offers dishes suitable to people who follow a vegetarian diet.

  • Is the supermarket stocked with frozen foods?

    Yes, the supermarket offers a large selection of frozen food.

• Reservation and payment

  • How can I calculate the price for a stay in accommodation? *

    We remind you that the price for the accommodation is a price per night with people included.

    Prices include free parking for one car, water, electricity, gas and 10% VAT.

    Daily visitors are not included in the price of accommodation.

  • How can I estimate the price for a pitch stay? *

    If you want to know the price for a pitch holiday, you should add at the pitch price per night also the price per person per night.

    Prices include the allocation of a pitch fitted with a 220 volts/5 ampere power supply (using CE sockets), parking space for one car and 10% VAT.

  • Is the Junior Offer valid both for pitches and accommodation? *

    The Junior offer is valid only for people who stay in a pitch and it establishes that children with an age between 2 and 11 years old can get a 20% discount in the price per person per night.

    Junior offer can not be combined with other offers.

  • What is the use for password and username? *

    Username and password are necessaries to book on line and to enter in the private area, where you can change your profile with personal data, check your reseservation, pay a deposit with credit card and make the web check-in.

  • I have forgotten my username and password. How can I do? *

    You can get your username and password again filling the proper form or contacting us.

  • How can I get username and password to enter in the private area? *

    To access to the private area you can use the username and password choosen during the online booking. If you have made a reservation by phone or by email, contact us and we will send them to you.

  • How can I confirm my booking? *

    In order to confirm your reservation you must pay the deposit (30 % of the total amount of your holiday) whitin the terms indicated in the booking request.

  • How can I pay the deposit? *

    You can pay your deposit by money transfer, we ask you to indicate your booking number as reason of payment (example: deposit for booking n. ..../......).

    If you choose to pay the deposit with credit card or Paypal through Banca Sella, we remind you that is possible to do the payment at the moment of booking or later inside the private area.

    As soon as we receive the deposit, our booking office will send you a confirmation letter per post or email.

  • Can I pay the deposit through Paypal? *

    Yes, you can pay the deposit also with Paypal.

  • In which case will be the deposit refound? *

    Deposits will be returned for bookings only if cancellations are made at least 30 days prior to the foreseen day of arrival.

  • How can I pay the balance for my stay? *

    You must  pay the balance of your holiday at the cash desk (8.00-12.00 and  15.00-19.00) of the campsite by credit cards (accepted VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) or cash money.

  • What credit cards are accepted in the campsite?

    The campsite accepts cash money and main credit cards as Visa, Matsercard, American Express, Maestro.
